Distant horizon, Cathedral Ranges
Distant horizon, Cathedral Ranges Oil on linen framed in natural wood 125 x 155cm This is the largest work in the collection and focuses on the expansive view of the Cathedral Ranges. I wanted to capture the sense of distance and openness that defines this landscape, the way the horizon stretches endlessly and the ranges sit quietly against the sky. The composition emphasises space and scale, with the rolling land leading the eye toward the mountains. It reflects the calm and clarity of this region, where the vastness of the earth meets the softness of the sky.
