A degree of beauty
Watercolour and

natural wood – framed size 70 x 90cm
This work was created during a walk through Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie. The long row of trees caught my attention—their strong vertical forms and deep blue tones standing out against the open sky and warm earth. I wanted to capture the simplicity and structure of the scene, the way the trees framed the landscape and led the eye into the distance. The painting reflects the calm and clarity of that moment, where the geometry of nature and the quiet rhythm of the land felt balanced and beautiful.
